Music Therapy
All ages
An established profession addressing the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals of all ages which improves the quality of life for those who are well and meets the needs of individuals with disabilities or illnesses.

Music Therapy Plan
Your Music Therapy Assessment and Treatment Plan will reflect who you are as an individual and will include strengths and suggested treatment areas.
Consistent Care
We work as a team to keep each other updated on each client’s needs. If your primary music therapist is not available (i.e. vacation), we will find another consultant to assist you.
Multiple Environments
Your music therapist may want to see you at home, at the workshop, or in our South Bend office – whichever location works best for you.
Small Group Skill Lab
BST offers regularly-scheduled social gatherings, clubs, and events that provide opportunities to address various skill areas outside of regular one-on-one sessions. Our skills labs not only provide opportunities to enhance individualized goals and objectives, they also give clients the chance to socialize, make connections, and form friendships with one another in a safe and supportive environment.
No experience necessary
Music therapy can help individuals improve their self-image, body awareness and emotional regulation and expression as well as fine and gross motor skills. Music Therapy is much more than music appreciation and it is not music lessons.
Proven to boost an individual’s overall confidence
Individuals do not have to have any instrument-playing ability to benefit from music therapy. Instruments, props and adaptive devices are used to help individuals increase communication and independence. Music therapy assists individuals with improving their auditory processing and reducing maladaptive, or negative, behaviors.
